Our journey began on the rich farmlands of Ghana, where our founder, Theresa Poku, cultivated some of the sweetest, juiciest pineapples in the region. As a dedicated farmer, she understood the value of fresh produce, but she also saw an opportunity: rather than let the fruits go to waste or sell them raw, she decided to transform them into something lasting, meaningful, and flavorful.
What started as homemade pineapple jam, cooked with care the traditional way—just like Mama used to do it—soon grew into a full line of 100% fruit spreads that quickly gained love for their authentic taste and natural ingredients.
But Tessna didn’t stop at food. Inspired by the same philosophy of natural purity and handmade excellence, we expanded into cosmetic products—offering raw and whipped Shea Butter, African Black Soap, and a growing line of skincare and haircare products all made with natural, African-sourced ingredients.
